In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of the classic gothic horror novel by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelly, The Hudson River Shakespeare Company will present Frankenstein, adapted for the stage by Tim Kelly, with additional scenes by Andrew Daly, on Friday and Saturday, October 12 and 13, at 8 pm with two matinees, Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14 at 2 pm at The Strand Theater, 210 Main Street, Hudson Falls.
This classic story of macabre creation and moral retribution is brought to vivid life in this stage adaptation. With relative newcomer Matthew Babbitt as the genius medical student teetering on the brink of madness, and veteran performer Jacob Crowd as his
grotesque creation, life, death, love and sanity all hang in the balance.
The cast includes Mick O’Dalaigh, Emily Austin,
Jennifer Madison, Bruce VanGuilder, Catherine Peck, Molly
Oddy, Joshua Babbitt, and Thomas Allen Jr.
