I joined the company in 2005 at the ripe old age of 56. Since then Ive been in nearly every performance playing everything from kings and nobles to irate fathers and common workers, and even a creepy jeweler. Outside Shakespeare I've played both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, as well as the police Inspector, wealthy business man to thug. Oddly enough before this my stage experience was confined to Ebeneezer Scrooge and Class Cut up in fifth grade productions of A Christmas Carol and a play about Our Typical School Day, and a Chinese rickshaw puller in a sixth grade play about... I don't remember what. It was a long hiatus. I've reached the age of trombones now (76) and sometimes think I'm getting too old for this stuff, but then I think, no, I'm still having too much fun. I guess I'll stick around as long as they'll have me and as long as I can do it.
